Trailer: Beneath Contempt
I don’t know a whole lot in terms of this film’s storyline, but this a project that an Emerson colleague of mine, Benjamin Brewer, has been putting together for a while. The film stars another Emerson friend, Mike Bash, who has a role in So Long, Lonesome as well as makes an appearance in David Fincher’s upcoming feature, The Social Network.
It’s always interesting to see what my filmmaking colleagues are up to, as the ideas and styles vary wildly from person to person. But unlike Brewer, not every one has the drive or the resources to scrap together all their friends and equipment and make a low-budget feature, so I always applaud a colleague that tries. Looking forward to seeing this one once it’s done…
